Spring Time in Bangalore

Sometimes I feel I experience a lot of life on the roads as I am travelling..

Yesterday morning as I was travelling on the outer ring road from the Madivala silk board junction towards the KR Puram flyover, I chanced to look up and to my pleasant surprise , all the trees were blooming with flowers.. tissue like, thin, lavender flowers .. the trees themselves are barren of leaves and only flowers remain on them.

Also near M G Road, you will get to see the trees full of yellow flowers. And if you are lucky, you will get to see these flowers on the back drop of interestingly coloured buildings- like I got to see the yellow flowers against the blue buildings of the Army colony near MG road..

And then I knew Spring has arrived in Bangalore ! ..

You get to see trees with dark purple flowers... and lot of times these flowers would have all fallen on the streets .. forming a purple carpet. Also you get to see the 'gulmohar' - ( But then thats the May flower - Need to wait for two more months for this flower )

Bangaloreans, as you travel through the city, dont forget to look up and enjoy the beautiful scenery around.
