Men thrive on Ego

Raghav and me were going for a late night icecream. The roads were empty, so Raghav was driving fast. Now from the perpendicular road, we see a cabbie coming real fast. Quick calculations in our mind told us that both the cars would reach the junction at the same time.

I look at both the men ( R and the driver ) . As if something was stimulating them, they both thrived to cross each other before the other one reaches the junction.. Somehow, the inevitable happens.

Both are at the junction at the same time :)

Both give each other a look - a look that says , Hmm.. Now what are you going to do ..

Smiling to myself, I watch this drama and myself wonder what they going to do .. when suddenly, Raghav backs up , patronizingly indicates the other driver to go..

And I smile to myself.. That was Perfect :)

Driver, doesnt look at hubby, takes a turn and zoooms ahead..
And I laugh and say softly ... " Men thrive on Ego "
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Postscript : And I hear my hubby's repartee.. And women on Emotions :)

Extremely funny. I wouldn't have been this patient in the role of an onlooker. I would have dreaded that they both will actually hit each other.

Yup, you are so right. But the men who have conquered their road-ego's are really blessed drivers.
