Beautiful Songs and a fond memory

My dad is not a very good singer . However he whistles very well. His whistle does not sound the way the whistles usually sound. It goes something like "sesesese.... " As a child I would be fascinated at the way he would whistle. And would try to imitate him. Could never do it though :|

Also I could never get the songs that he was whistling.

As I grew up and became more aware about songs, I discovered two of the most beautiful songs that I could have ever heard. Check them out..

Ye Dil aur unki nigaahon ke saaye

Doni Sagali..

This one is in Kannada.

So with these beautiful songs- I wish you all a very happy , bright morning ! And a wish you have a cheerful week ahead !

I love that song. It was pleasure to hear it again. How come you are immersing yourself in old songs these days? I thought I was the only one of our group that was so into them?

Hey Shruti,

Even I have always loved old songs! I don't why you thought you were the only one in our group.

Veena,
I have the Ye dil aur unki song and listen to it quite often. It really is a very upbeat song and hence one of my favorites.

@Shruti, @Neel, Thrilled to see both of your comments:)

@Shruti, yaar, I guess me and Neel and maybe the others also liked old songs..Though I remember that your defination of old was a little older than ours.. I remember you loving the SDBurman, Saigal songs too.. Did you not have a favorite radio station to listen to those songs too ?

@Neel, Look at my answer to Shruti above. Actually I remember how much of a database of old songs you were ..ya, Yeh dil aur unki is a really nice song ..
